I can identify with you and understand what you mean. I went through such experience on many occasions in my old house which wasn't very "clean" then....In some way, it is a kind of "oppression".

Hi Yuan,

Where is your old house ? can we round up some MCFers who are Science Experts like LightBringer and others to go there to find out more ?

It will be exciting... like going to Haunt houses in Ridout Road/Seton Close like during my teenage days...

Anyone interested ?

i just experienced something odd..

i am sleeping in macdonald hotel in manchester.. it's only my 2nd night here so my GMT timing all off. i slept at 4pm (sg time 12am). at about 11pm (7am sg time), i was awakened by a really bad nightmare (hantu dreams la). then i saw something, like a small kid's shadow, ran across my room towards the window sia.. (btw i sleep with the toilet lights on and the bedside lamp on also) i was damn scared! i wanted to call my colleague to bunk in with her, but decided against it coz she might be asleep and i didnt wanna wake her.

so i tried to think maybe its the after effect of the nightmare, like my imagination, or just the tv (coz i left it on). i forced myself back to sleep.. on the verge of falling asleep, i saw like a white long sleeved shirt hanging on the wall! all at the same time, my fire alarm suddenly went off! i literally jumped off my bed. i looked at where the white shirt was but its not there anymore. my alarm was still ringing then- it went on for about 1 min. i called the reception but they claimed nothing happened.

spooky.. i'm still in manchester now and scheduled to fly back on 21.. one more night here. i don;t think i'm gonna change room, coz all my colleagues say that manchester hotel is not supposed to be "dirty" like sheraton jakarta hotel.. nvm la see how tonight, got something more to share not >.<

Haha yea it really wasn't a pleasent experience.

Its not exactly a real ghost encounter but really.... u gotta experience it 1st hand.

if u got watch the thai movie - The Sisters....the ghost actually came out from the aircon vent coz the murderer placed the corpse inside the vent haha.

i used to stay at simei - blk 107, we moved out eventually coz we think the hse is not clean. often my mother will feel presence when she is alone in the afternoon at home, i will also often see black shadow sped past my eye sight, very fast one...sometimes when i am inside my room playing computer games till late late night and my back is facing the door, i will turn to look back coz i just feel presence around me.

Got one time i slept with my body turned to one side, also heard a very loud fast breathing sound and it was like 8pm only ok? den i quicky get out and told my mother later...den also smell something sweet from outside the window after that.

fengshui master also said we sld move out.

my mother said the dirty things could have came from the unit below us...coz its known to be 'dirty' as many families who stayed there, someone will die or end up family conflicts....the last neighbour also admitted to my mum is dirty but the granny said the daughter n hubby dont believe such things lol

Maybe what you experienced was 鬼压身, but the ghost was falling off the bed and grab your hand instead of the bed? hahaha.

there is a scientific explanation for this phenomena..i forgot what is it called, but apparently, this is a state where your mind is awake but your body isn't..happens more frequently if there are alot of things going thru your mind when you are about to sleep...i myself have experienced it quite a number of times...

okay.. my turn to share my real life experience...

somewhere 8 yrs ago, i stayed at Resort Hotel at Genting Highland. Was there with my ex-gf and stayed at a corner room.

As usual, we go casino and i won quite a fair bit there, having guided by a old man who just hide behind me and tell me what to bet every round. i still rem i bet 500 bucks a game and i won 14 rounds in a row.

Went back hotel at around 1am plus and slept there till 4am plus to get ready to go back. My hair will always "stand" up after sleeping, therefore, i walk into the bath room, bend down and shower my hair using the shower head. Just when i was washing my hair, i feel cold wind around me. i stop the water, look up and i saw the false ceiling (those false ceiling where you can push up the square shape board) being hold up in a 45 degree angle and it start SLIDING open.

I was like WTF!!! Being young with iron balls that time, i stepped onto the toilet bowl and move my head above the false ceiling to see. However, i start to notice that the distance btw the real cement ceiling and the false ceiling is only around 30 cm, just nice for the size of my head. by then, i realised something is not right as there isn't enough space for someone to crawl in between the real and the false ceiling.

i ran out of the toilet, wake up ex-gf up, carry everything on hand and quickly took life down to lobby. throw the key to the receiption and quickly got my ass into my car and speed down the hill...

this is a real experience and i always remember how scary it is...

Sounds like a scene from Ju-on...

Seems that some unlucky fellow ever found a body in his room previously [bigcry]

My old house is at Yishun and was sold about 10 years ago. But the experiences I went thru are still very clear in my mind.

I think we can form a MCF SPI team to go jalan jalan these places.... [drivingcar]
