Pocus Turbocharged January 15, 2013 Share January 15, 2013 If you are talking about CVR alone, the hp difference only exists between manual and CVT. Different years versions I believe only different in trims. 2007 CVRs feels more "bluish"! while the 2008 CVRs feels more "blackish"...lol Even for the difference in power in paper, stock to stock, I doubt your butt will feel the difference.. But between CVT and Manual.....there definately a bit of difference...

Samuel536 Neutral Newbie January 20, 2013 Share January 20, 2013 no la, cos trade in used car change to another used car ma, won't lose much. seriously, i am really missing the auto transmission of CPT and the power on demand, lol
Fuelsaver Supercharged January 21, 2013 Share January 21, 2013 (edited) U only sat in my ride n could feel it? Or u sat in a few? I wouldn't say power in demand but came in at lower rpm though. Wait till I upsize back to 16" even better, missing it recently haha. Then I reserve for u my prospective buyer if u not hiam. Hopefully Coe be significantly lower so can have a more win win situation. Edited January 21, 2013 by Fuelsaver
Nuahster1 1st Gear January 23, 2013 Share January 23, 2013 hi bros, any of you can advise what CVT fluid colt plus uses? i'm due for a major servicing, lost the owners manual. i checked with minghee, they only have Mitsubishi Dia Queen ATF SP3. Is it the correct one? I'm under the impression that normal ATF and CVT Fluid are different?

Nuahster1 1st Gear January 25, 2013 Share January 25, 2013 hi to all colt owners, I just did a major servicing for my colt plus, 6yrs old and done 160K. changed front and rear brake pads and skim rotors too. Had quite a hefty bill, but now need to spend more... just found out during servicing, aircon cooling coil leaking, water pump leaking, brake master pump leaking, fan belt is squeaking (recommended to change).. So now is that if i have to change all this parts, is there any other parts that i can change at the same time? given the age and mileage of the car i guess its only a matter of time before other parts start to give way. Planning to use the car for at least nxt 2-3yrs. Appreciate any advise or input.
Fuelsaver Supercharged January 28, 2013 Share January 28, 2013 from this topic, gathered some workshops colt plus owners went to - 1. C&C 2. racetech @ sin ming (look for roland) 3. esso station @ lavender street (look for gary) 4. khy auto @ sin ming 5. parts only - min ghee (look for martin)

Planning to use the car for at least nxt 2-3yrs. Appreciate any advise or input. 160k you should have gone through at least 1 major service which includes: 1. change 3 belts (aircon, fan, timing) 2. belt tensioner 3. water pump I changed the aforementioned every 80k. Already gone through 2 changes. Original aircon cooling coil can be changed at Bukit Merah Industrial park for 600++ with GST. OEM will cost you 400++ I have changed both water tank (at 120k) and aircon cooling coil (at 130k). Yours considered long lasting.
Weihui Clutched January 31, 2013 Share January 31, 2013 Ah, CP should be using timing chain. So you need only to change 2 belts.
