i told them i am here just to see the car, dont need to test drive. they eventually found a slot for me to test drive which i am very keen to accept. :D

Went for a test drive last friday.. maybe i went there early about 9am.. still not much customer.. the SE quite friendly.. Golf R might not out perform the GTI in some area, but in term of overall.. Golf R is a very well balance car... Performance and comfort... i personally think VW balance this quite well.. in singapore kind of road.. Golf R is better as compare to GTI...

If wanna compare Golf R with Audi S3... hmm i personally think they both have the same performane.. just that in some ppl eye, audi is one class above VW.. but interior wise and design, Golf R look more decent with evil power pack underneath

Sorry....

apart from the Audi badge, which itself weighs and cost more than the people's VW,

the 2.0TSI in the S3 puts out 265bhp VS 257bhp of the Golf R....

plus you get a slightly larger car as well....

Both the S3 and Golf R are 256bhp / 330Nm for Singapore. In Europe, the S3 is 265bhp and Golf R is 270bhp. Don't refer to the Audi Singapore website, it's wrong. The Australia site has the correct specs.
