No more siren on my 3rd party Car alarm

last time when lock car, got 1 button got lock with sound, now that button no more sound.

 

the "search for car" mode also no sound, only hazard light blinking..

 

horn is working fine though, what can be the problem ?

possibilities

 

- low batt (meaning time to replace batt?)

- siren/alarm spoilt (to replace alarm?? is this a third party alarm ? need to replace the whole alarm system?)

- mute mode (wah, this I have to check how to unmute then...no option on the remote leh)

Maybe it is voice activated? if u watch the movie G I JOE,try to find the scottish unmute and said it,is like the te tein in fire :)

car horn and alarm horn is different.

you just need to locate and check if it's working fine.

 

that time mine got wierd sound, ended up is my horn's cone drop off.

this happens to me 2 months ago too..Went back to the shop and they diagnosed to be the horn short circuit..Change a new one and everything ok liao..

my car alarm is from my PI one..dunno which shop to go..

 

should I get it fix during my maintenance with MBM workshop ? should be going for servicing within 1 month..

just had servicing at MBM...they diagnose that it's actually the speaker problem.

I thot this speaker is the horn?

 

they charging me $65 to change the speaker. fair?

 

or any other shop to recommend to have this changed?

i think the alarm has turn mode , whr u stay if u stay in the west sent it to the jurong east near the chinese garden mrt there is a shop selling alarm n car audio , me when there they just do somthing wif the remote n it foc

Hi can anyone advise me how to un-mute my alarm using remote control. My car model is Honda Stream and the car key comes with 2 button, one for lock and one for unlock. I might have accidentally muted the alarm beep sound as it was working early today. Any advice is highlight appreciated.

Once I drove a Suzuki Swift (my fren rented it). We were going home in a super heavy rain (all cars were on hazard light kinda).

 

Next day the alarm sound like its immersed in water.
