The best way out is to use a special designed file/scrapper as sandpaper maybe not be able to remove all the stubborn dirt/rust built-up.

Well, I brought it back to Borneo yesterday. And I was told that 'some cleaning' was done. Now the brakes don't squeal anymore, even in the morning.

 

So, kudos to Borneo for rectifying the problem.

This shows the mech handling the initial replacement is dame lousy in detail work or just a part changer.

this is due to the lack of brake pad grease at the bad of the brake pad to the brake calipers. you can ask borneo to put more grease there.
