It is not a matter of brand lah. In fact, we have not heard of modern 1.6 Car consuming more than 4qt . Kelpie 2nd Gear May 24, 2010 Share May 24, 2010 (edited) Need 4qt of engine oil, only the 2.0L Civic then need 4.5qt of engine oil. There was once, my 2.0 exceeded 4.5qt slightly.
