Vhtfhwlego Supercharged June 7, 2014 Share June 7, 2014 http://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/info.php?ID=402997&DL=2473 I was looking at this but too much mod on this car. Guys do u know how much for evaluation at AS, AC, iEnergi & EA? If I do evaluation at these workshop is there a need to go STA or Vicom evaluation again? What I heard that TwinSparks engine are bulletproof. With mods, high chances owner knows what is good & what is bad for the car. Just for example, owners that mod do a lot of preventive measurements to the car. So when they trash the car, they wouldn't worry that engine/GB will blown into pieces. While owners that don't mod the cars, sometimes don't even bother to service it. ↡ Advertisement

Vhtfhwlego Supercharged June 10, 2014 Share June 10, 2014 Bro serious?Must really trash Selespeed so that it won't have problem? I know if that I idle the car, caught in long jams, my selespeed will go into 2nd gear when moving off. Then jump to 4th and I need to press left pedal shift to go into 3rd gear. Or sometimes it will jump from 1st to 3rd and left shift to move to 2nd. Then one day, it sudden went crazy (above). I ask several WS the possible cost of repairs. All 4digits and since I might be scrapping her in 2months time, might as well trash her. If she uplorry, then I will save the repair cost. After few rounds of "Italian tuning", she is back to normal. And she no longer jumps gear.

That is strange, I guess it's time for yr bella to RIP in 2 mths time and she still put on a gd fight.\ Brought my potential 147 to AS for check, got 2 main probs that is setting me back to purchase this bella. 1. Power window intermittent problem when closing up AS diagnosed it to be a regulator and switch problem Switch have to wait 2-3 wks but regulator in stock 2. Front lower arm both having knocking noises AS recommend to change both at a cost of almost $1k Dealer willing to fix 1. (they only paid deposit for part and promised to fix whole bill when arrive) but 2. I have to fix on my own, still worth buying? Any alternate for 2.? Tanly Motors, spare parts probably cost you 40~50% of what you be paying at WS.However, labour fee will go up a little. Arms issues, 156/147/GT share the same parts. And it's a common w&t. What's the mileage now? The cost to run a Alfa 156 is around 0.20per km to 0.28 per km. Of course subjected to petrol. And if you worry so much about these small issues, maybe Alfa is not your cup of tea. We buy from heart, not mind.

I'm not sure of the exact parts as Peter only say the font 2 lower arms need to change. I will prefer to change and get parts direct from Tanly if their price is lower and bring to AS for change. The knocking sound worries me and I want to prevent further damage if driving in this condition.
