Generally lighter colours work with cars that are a stunning piece of kit. As an example - it you look at the 1 Series Beemer (a real ugly duckling) then in white it is a total disaster, whereas in black or dark grey it kind of blends in so its very ugly proportions dont offend so much. Still looks like c..p

The 147 in my view works better in darker colours - but at the end of the day you need to be happy with it.

Good decision - one more point, unless you are going for a bare body shell respray it is a real bad idea to change the colour - come resale time it ends up looking cheap and hence could devalue the car.

Hi, 147s are great drive. Had 1 for ~6yrs, and just sold it for bigger family space. Btw, I have a sprint booster from my 147sele for sale. Do let me (+65 98286406) know if you are interested. :)

one question for the 147 guys, is the sillyspeed on the 2.0 the same as those on the Fiats? cos i hate those on the Fiats but my recollection of the 156 Sillyspeed i tested many many years ago (when it was still new....haha) wasn't as repusive

The last generation of Selespeed are less problematic compared to the older gen. Some errors are rectified with reflash but for parts ie actuators or accumalators are still.... Haha, still require replacement after some miles. Clutch rod can be adjusted for quicker clutch reaction but wear and tear nevertheless would be higher.

Fiat share same parts as Alfa in terms of selespeed gearbox. :)
