1fast1 Supersonic June 16, 2010 Share June 16, 2010 (edited) Sure, why not? Where do you think all our durians come from - they're brought in on trucks. Anyway, I brought in a big paper sack of cat mountain king durians in my boot on my recent trip to Desaru. The customs inspector looked inside the boot. He never asked, and I never volunteered, but I think the look and aroma were unmistakable. No issues. Edited June 16, 2010 by Turboflat4
Ldawn88 2nd Gear June 16, 2010 Share June 16, 2010 you were lucky then. but you should not tell the bros no issue. Just yesterday afternoon, when I was coming back from JB, I saw the car infront of me, a custom officer pulled 1 durian out from the brown paper sack in the boot. Later another officer came and helped took away the sack. From the boot, the brown paper sack probably contains around 5 durians. Sure, why not? Ldawn88 2nd Gear June 16, 2010 Share June 16, 2010 If not wrong, some plants inclusive of vege are not allowed into SG. But I am not sure how strict the custom is enforcing this. Are we allow to bring durian into Singa pore...

Enzomatrix 2nd Gear June 16, 2010 Share June 16, 2010 Thats strange. I have never encountered problems with that. From what I checked, http://www.customs.gov.sg/leftNav/trav/Dut...bited+Goods.htm Durian is not supposed to be restricted as long as its a small amount for own consumption. What possible twisted logic can the customs have for seizing durians?! It's not the MRT.

Since u know the price of mao shan already, u still ask worth it or not? And they are not in a bag, but lying exposed in a rectangle basket. The officer open my boot, saw a whole pile of durians and wave me off. ↡ Advertisement
