It's like all your close friends own a car, you dun wanna own one even if you jolly well can afford it? Everyone's owning a iPhone around you, talking about the apps, games, you dun have so you can't talk much, so u get left out?? Your friends all got their own house condo, you still living with parents??

my group of buddies went into NS 3 mths before me, and every single one went to OCS. I was super stressed... really piah all the way to get in... was really relieve when i was eventually posted there.

 

That may be for the wrong reason to get to be an officer.. but when i think back, it is the right choice. Would had done the same thing if given the choice again. Definitely learnt a lot during NS years. Since you cant siam NS, might as well do ur best right?

The same kind of clique that goes through life pressured to take on a 10year loan with a monthly paycheck of SGD$3k just to buy a 1.6L Blueficiency Mercedes C Class.

Ha ha, actually it's not difficult to go OCS in SG la. As long as you got good eye sight can liao. Go for the pilot or weapon system officer interview during NSF time and get kick out in first phrase and automatically they will post you out to become infantry officer. Actually I more respect of the older generation commando and ranger. That time den damn siong.
