Been a while since I started any thread on MCF...

 

I'm driving a almost 2 years Honda FIT RS. My daughter was recently added to my family lineup so I have now 3 kids (6, 3 & 4 months). Due the my daughter's arrival, I must now get a maid to help out with the chores and the kids. Of late I find that my car is a bit cramped even for the current lineup. Add a maid into the picture and it'll be more cramped than ever.

 

My car would be 2 years old in Dec 2010 and was thinking of changing to either a Civic or Stream of the same age Dec 08 or Jan 09. My question is that is it wise to take a 7 year loan on a 2 year old car?

 

If you have other makes in mind, please do share. Also do share what are the considerations that I should take note of.

I have never thought about Mazda 5... Let me check it out later... Good suggestion but just scared that the FC is quite jialat...

For all those who have own MPV with Sliding Doors, I think everyone of you have the Fear factor of childrens' fingers kena hurt or crack by the front passenger door closing.

Sometimes you have unawaring Front passengers that just open and close the door and due to the higher profile of MPV, the 2nd row passenger need to hold onto something to get up, Many times they hold onto to that door frame instead of the Handle.

I own a Toyota Sienta and had a phobia and sold it. I will never buy a sliding door car...

My previous car was Sunny too and the car back ended me was a Picnic.

So, 1.5ton bang a 1.1ton.

My Sunny boot cannot open. The picnic's bumper only dent a bit.

Heavier car got its merit. Just need to pay more for the fuel.

 

Pros and cons to everything... The Picnic that bang you is silver coloured?

Freed has the same engine and transmission as my present car... The back space is not really a gain to change to it...

Should be an isolated case... Probably too much 3rd party electronics...
