strange though,

 

Peugeot only does 6TIP for the 1.6T 155bhp engine,

 

Citroen for now, does the 6EGS only for the 1.6T 155bhp engine....

 

not really, its actually the "order" in which the products are released and differentiation

peugeot is normally aimed at the female drivers who are nuts are understanding how a manual car works, hence no point giving them anything remotely "manual'

 

the same 6AT starting to be seen in the 3008/308cc ..etc will filter down to citroen side for the next generation c4 and above range as well, its just abt the timing of their products release

 

citroens get to choose from pure manual, automated manual, full auto

the pugs get only mostly auto and little manual options and no automated manual

Didn't see this feature leh... So this feature prevents your car from rolling backwards on a slope?

 

 

for Hill Start Assist,

 

yes....

 

activate this function,

 

then you can release the brake and go on the accelerator when on the slope....

 

cos HSA holds the brake for 3 secs for you.... [laugh][laugh]

the 2010/2011 Citroen C4 Grand Picasso and C4 Picasso lor....

 

1.6 Turbo 155bhp 240Nm 6EGS....

 

0-100kph in 9.6s and 9.1s respectively....

SG car mark put both as 4 AT leh. even the EGS model.

"For enhanced comfort and safety, the vehicle is fitted as standard with an automatic electronic parking brake that engages automatically when the engine is stopped and disengages automatically as soon as the torque applied to the drive wheels is sufficient to move the vehicle forwards. An electric control, located within easy reach of the driver in the middle of the dashboard, can be used to apply the parking brake in a conventional manner whenever necessary.

 

In addition to the automatic parking brake, the vehicle is also fitted as standard with a hill start assistance function that helps the driver to set off or manoeuvre on gradients. This system automatically maintains the vehicle in position for up to two seconds so that the driver has the time to move a foot from the brake to the accelerator, without the vehicle moving forwards or backwards down the slope.

 

To make parking easier, the new MPV is also available with front and rear parking assistance and a parking space gap sensor that informs drivers whether an available space is big enough for the vehicle (spaces measuring less than 3 metres and more than 8 metres are ignored)."

 

 

btw picasso has 4 aircon blowers [:p]

now C&C sell the new 2010/2011 version....

 

confirm,

 

1.6Turbo 155bhp 6EGS only....

 

citroen currently don't make full auto for this car....

C5 also now using the 1.6Turbo 155bhp engine....

 

but so far only available with 6MT....the EGS or 6TIP not in yet....

 

haha....

 

 

already in, already some booked

6AT gearbox

 

 

SG follow AUS specs and configuration, not FR and UK, this change just recently :)

Oh now I remember... There was a delay after the SE released the hand brake which was also the hazard light button... It took about 3 seconds before the display indicated that the handbrake is off...

 

The blowers are at either side of the passenger door...

anyway those salespeople are just ...salespeople...they wont know the full specs of the car/problems/how to maximise its potential

the amt of technology citroen puts into all their vehicles is so much u take a lot of time to explore how to utilise it

 

btw u can fold down all seats except driver, it makes a good bed
