Macpherson service center isn't bad actually. The mechanics there are okay. They seem to know their stuff. Whenever the car got a problem, they could identify the problem and fix it.

On the otherhand, Alexandra staff are cocky and service is rude/horrible. Kampong Ampat Ftw.

Alexander got one slightly plumb lady who organizes the handover of the car to the mechanics. I remember seeing her at Kampong Ampat when I first bought my M3. I remember cus she's got a pretty face [angel]

What about the Air Conditioner? Is it part of the Mazda service?

Yes, it is.

The aircon parts like dryer and filter are changed at service intervals.

If needed the other parts like cooling coil and compressor can also be done there.

If you service your ride with agent, the maintenance fee will be on the high side for any car makes.

If you service your ride with outside workshop, the maintenance fee for Mazda isn't considered high as the spare parts from stockists aren't so expensive.

From my experience,

- Honda and Mitsubishi parts are more expensive than Mazda's.

- Toyota sure is cheaper.

- Nissan & Suzuki - no idea as I or my family members never owned one before.

how cool is Mazda3? I find Mazda2 more appealing to me, but in terms of driving experience, which is is better?

Mazda 2 of course, the one on manual transmission. [thumbsup] The Mazda 2 auto actually robs the fun of driving such a nippy car.
