Dh15 Clutched September 9, 2010 Share September 9, 2010 Hello guys/gals, Anyone has recommendation on which hotel or confectionery has the best Bird's Nest Mooncake? Price doesn't matter as long as it is good. Any recommendations of other flavors are also welcomed! So far I've only ordered D24 Mooncake with Charcoal Skin and Mao Shan Wang Durian Mooncake. ↡ Advertisement

U can try the bird nest mooncake from RWS. Each box cost $98, but if u got pts, can do redeem.
SimonTan 2nd Gear September 10, 2010 Share September 10, 2010 Such mooncakes are for rich people. Really I see no point in spending so much money on such fancy mooncakes. I could have bought a $68 (100% bottle of birdnest from medicinal shop), and eat it with a cheaper normal mooncake while drinking my birdnest. Or I could have bought $50 worth of D24 fresh durian, and eat it with a normal mooncake. Its more economical to get the item separate, rather then to pay a jacked up price for it to be put inside a mooncake. But then, my wife keeps telling me its the total package and experience of eating a specially made birdnest mooncake or Black gold durian mooncake. I just don't get it anyway.
