Mid-Autumn festival or mooncake festival is just around the corner on Sept 27th. Do you guys have any specific brands to recommend or go for? The number of brands is overwhelming. Traditional , snowskin, exotic, anything... Personally prefer the not-so-sweet types. I am fine if this thread is subsumed under that for previous years for simplicity.

I remember last year this time the shop close liao. This year still trying hard to clear stock. No yoke selling at $2/pc and with yoke $3. Very good deal.

Hello guys/gals, Anyone has recommendation on which hotel or confectionery has the best Bird's Nest Mooncake? Price doesn't matter as long as it is good. Any recommendations of other flavors are also welcomed! So far I've only ordered D24 Mooncake with Charcoal Skin and Mao Shan Wang Durian Mooncake.

Background... Known some of them will out mouldy crust and deepfreeze the lotus past and recycle next year. Keep recycling until sold. Known. use Sudan Red color to dye the egg yolk to make them brighter Now.. implemented Barcode system. You think it will work or just a wayang? Esp with a series of outrageous product recall time and again. Would u pay for them? Are you taking a risk? Or you just trust AVA random inspection?
