For good quality synthetic atf like RP, 1 qt abt $13 only. Every drain n fill use abt 3-4 lit only.

There r many better places to get yr car serviced. Dont let ws [knife] u.

ATF not difficult. Most mech can do. If u do e 'drain n fill' no need special equip.

If u do e flush, ty need to use e machine.

I just do e drain n fill every 10 or 20k km can already. After a few times, u see e atf drain out still clean n red, next time can do after 20-30k km.

If u see drained fluid dark n dirty, then just do every 10k km till its clean.

Make sure u use good quality atf so as not to damage yr autobox.

And important not to over or under-fill.

I usually under-fill at ws n drive home n check again when its hot n top-up to e correct level.

ATF u need to check when its hot to get correct level.

yup the guy quote me $330 is draining out the fluid but i still think is quite ex btw another guy posted saying his cvr change fluid at 20 to 40k.How much your ws charge you for draining?

B careful as there r many dishonest ws out there. I went tru b4. Liars, cheats n crooks r common in many ws.

I see e bigger places r e worst.

lol btw the guy who spoke to me is a Malaysian

Many of them like to cheat sporeans as ty think we all stupid.

U go jb ws u hv to b even more careful. Ty r very tricky n dishonest, especially wh SG cars.

I tried a couple of times in jb but always went away with a bitter taste in my mouth. Now i dont waste my time n do all car stuff in SG although i go jb every week.

Even their car grooming was a big disappointment. Most car stuff there r done by real monkeys.

As i mentioned, labour i give $10 to my mech to drain n fill my atf. E atf i buy myself cos i quite fussy but there is a auto parts shop a few doors away fm my mech n ty sud sell e common atf but slightly higher than what i can get outside.

Usually when u drain n fill, u cannot get all out. There wil b abit still inside but no big deal.

U can stand-by >5 lit just in case. My autobox is abt 7 lit but drain out only 3-4 lit come out.

Just try to find out more yrself n dont trust what those mecs always tell u.

Most of them also very inexperienced n wil bluff like crazy. I never trust those young mech as i do know mycars well n find most mechs r big liars.

bro dont mind me saying.... just sharing my thoughts...

sounds like your first car... or at least your 1st car you have to take care yourself... somemore turbo car? version R is turbo or not?

my advise to you is... read up more on your car ESPECIALLY the manual 1st... then you can visit colt forums to find out things you cant find in your manual... and please read up facts about your car as not all cars are the same... find out amt of ATF... EO... your filters... your coolants...

as for JB i'd advise you not to as your model is non-existant in MY...

good luck and Happy Driving... [drivingcar]

why dont u buy your own ATF and Engine oil?

there should be quite a lot of saving.

just pay for labour.

im using Toyota Type IV ATF. Per tin cost around S$32.

required 2 tin. bought from stockist.

I changed ATF every 30-35K

labour cost less than S$40. Just drain and refill.

Last time i do e flush machine but now i just drain n fill every other oil change is more than enough to keep e atf fresh n red. Cheaper n easier to do.

Maybe when all my present atf finish, i go back to RP fully synthetic atf. very smooth.
