we're all the people who grew up in relative affluence n security compared with those who lived through WWII. The longer a society enjoys security n relative wealth, the more people realise money can't buy the things that really matter, n attaches less importance to accumulating wealth.

come bosses even work at home after work or stays late at office.

actually i think this have to depend on the type of industry,job scope and designation.

i have known people who earns more than $10k and work from 9-6pm.

and some who has got plenty of work to do and usually have to stay for overtime.

and they are consider the top level in in the company.

Japanese culture:some can be long hours malingering not working

American culture: some can be long hours meeting not working

Our culture: can be long hours weight-lifting/apple-polishing?

Which job will u chose?

 

1)$10,000 a month but hv to work like a cow from 8am to 10.30pm.

2)$4000 a month and is just normal simple easy job from 9.30am to 5 pm.

 

Option 1. Just make sure u have subordinates who are slightly better than you in terms of tech skills, then outsource the work to them accordingly. Keep developing own delegation and networking skills to further ahead.
