If don't have a house yet, better choose option 2 and get HDB. Meanwhile, you can earn extra money through wise investments which shouldnt take too much of your time. Thereafter, can choose a job with higher pay.

 

Depending on the nature of job, ie management, technical/engineering specialists, sales or consultants, the work hours with vary for those who

earn around that region. You may not need to work for so long hours to get that kind of money.

I think there is something misleading about this thread. As far as I can remember its the less than 5k jobs that require hard work, effort and long hours as these jobs are lower level "effort' kind of jobs.

 

Jobs that pay more tend to be 'talent', 'ability' , 'judgement' and most importantly 'common sense' jobs for which you have support staff getting 4k and working into the night while you go home early

need to ensure fish don't drown, water is clean and that they get plenty of rest in between... ya da ya da ya da..

It seems highly paid got hardly any work to do or responsiblity, so many people working towards that goal

Those who work alot or work hard get low pay for their efforts. So try to be less responsible for more pay, work less for better pay. Simply work wisely

 

 

actually i think this have to depend on the type of industry,job scope and designation.

i have known people who earns more than $10k and work from 9-6pm.

and some who has got plenty of work to do and usually have to stay for overtime.

and they are consider the top level in in the company.
