13177 Hypersonic December 7, 2010 Share December 7, 2010 Agree, more small cars so tht can benefit more pple. If only 1 big car, only 1 person can use. But if the whole family go out often, if driving too many car out, a bit impractical. ↡ Advertisement

VellfireS 4th Gear December 15, 2010 Author Share December 15, 2010 I know it's a month old thread but it seems that you have a lot of requirements. Why not just buy a couple of 'smaller' cars instead of one big one.. That's what my family do. Trust me! It's way more convenient. Expenses will be higher dude.. JOPP Neutral Newbie April 14, 2013 Share April 14, 2013 Hi, I am in the market for a MPV (1st one) and I have got some questions which I need to ask. As I understand that Estima are all PI cars, may I know where do you usually get them repair or service? Specs wise, is there any different between Previa and Estima? How much does it usually cost for a normal and major servicing (e.g timing belt change)? How reliable is the CVT gearbox?
Cluboxed 1st Gear April 14, 2013 Share April 14, 2013 i only know CVT gearbox needs to be replaced totally if spoilt?
Camrysfa Turbocharged April 15, 2013 Share April 15, 2013 think something that looked like a Estima broke down on PIE yesterday ( ard 3 pm ) near Jalan Anak Bukit stretch, heading twrds Jurong. The tow truck just got there when i passed by. Luckily, I was paying attention to the car in-front as the tow truck made all brake suddenly. Don't look like a flat tire case to me. Rare for a Toyota to breakdown?
Ody_2004 Turbocharged April 15, 2013 Share April 15, 2013 Current ACR50 Estima and Previa have steering rack problem. Won't endanger safety but the knock knock sound really irritating. Had replaced the full rack but problem still there so likely a design or manufacturing fault. Camry oso facing this issue.

Most likely Toyota's fault cause even daihatsu owned by toyota have this problem with their rides also. ↡ Advertisement
