Good-Carbuyer 1st Gear December 2, 2010 Share December 2, 2010 In Singapore, arrest means guilty until proven innocent! I'm guessing the bus driver's biggest question in his mind now is, "Why the hell did I serve NS for? Country don't even protect me, protect Ang Mo..".. Hilarious comment! Performed NS so eligible to be arrested when driving bus. Protect country that is ungrateful? However, can we wait for the investigation report instead? I happen to expect the abnormal to pop up for simple looking accident like this (could there be evidence that was an ambush, not accident?) I had encountered many ambushes by suicide cyclists/pedestrians/motorists/motorcyclists, so a little doubtful here
Renegade777 5th Gear December 2, 2010 Share December 2, 2010 (edited) No head no tail. There may be underlying reasons for this action. Maybe, bus driver not fit to drive coz under the influence of something or someone met his maker, therefore the so called extreme action being taken. Nobody knows so lets not jump to conclusion. Anyway, big bus operators will fight the case if they are in the right coz don't think they want the company to be taken to court so easily and lose revenue over it. Wyfitms Twincharged October 28, 2011 Share October 28, 2011 Sorry to hijack but i am not allowed to start a new post yet.. Just to relate another angmoh incident, after clearing SG customs and slowwing moving to merge into the single lane towards BKE, there was an irritating angmoh behind me who repeatedly blared his horn up to the extent that everyone (including the custom officers) were staring at him. From the rearview mirror, I saw that he was clearly angry at the pace of vehicles moving and was waving his hands around and pulling at his hair. He tailgate me so closely and ended up kissing my bumper. I got out of the car and noticed that there was no dent so did not confront him (all the while he just kept blasting his horn). Question is - would you confront him even if there was no dent on yr bumper? He seems to be in extreme rage, so prob not interested to talk things amicably... Wyfitms Twincharged October 28, 2011 Share October 28, 2011 u mean custom officer never question him? nah. The custom officers were seated happily chatting. When the AM blared the horn longer and louder, the officers stood up and just looked at him from a distance. Dunno why they didnt walk over to talk to him, either it's too troublesome to walk (20metres) or they are also afraid of the AM? The AM looked pissed and the moment he got out, he was sprinting at probably 120km/h, switching lanes like he's playing racing video game... haha was driving an old camry

Rainbowbiatch 6th Gear October 28, 2011 Share October 28, 2011 the question is does the custom officer have the statutory power to fine the AM for offences under the road traffic act? but they could get him to put his hands on the wheel instead of on the horn i suppose? anyways, back to the question. no damage, i will take foto and walk away. Nodtviedt 2nd Gear October 28, 2011 Share October 28, 2011 yeah, on hindsight maybe i was too nice... thought that since no damage to the car, i will just ignore him Chances are he might be desperate to rush somewhere... maybe see his dying family at the hospital or something. Could have been anyone, local or AM or FT etc. Given in that kind of situation I won't bother confronting him either... but I will still take note of his license plate and make a report.
