Sad day!

My 1 mth old Nissan QQ+2 was hit at the back by a lorry... windscreen broken, back badly dented... but luckily my family (wife, 2 kids n maid) r all oki.

The most suay thing is that I just went for car-grooming this afternoon, fetch my wife n kids back from Orchard and some more got hit on a small road while returning home, in front of my house, while I was turning into the service road/carpark!

Damn angry with the lorry driver... must be sleeping! (I was stationary, with signal lights on, waiting for on-coming traffic to clear before making right turn!)

SUAY... [furious]

Thanks...

Sometimes it's just that it's damn ironic lor... [smallcry]

A few moment ago, I was trying so hard to maneuver in the Wisma carpark, careful not to scratch the sides... then... I got hit right at the back... right in front of my house somemore!!!

Isn't it ironic? (Alanis Morrisette comes to mind)

I have been driving for more than 8 years and always been a careful driver... but still kana hit by others... [furious]

Luckily no one was seated in the 3rd row and everyone was belted up (incl. my 2 young kids - 3 and 1yr old)

Small Road... so I think the lorry was going around 60km/h and I was stationary with signal, about to make right turn into service road outside my house.

Heart pain indeed.

Knowing the repair work will not be perfect. Visible Paint work differences may appear after six months.

Internal rust may happen.

Car no more virgin!

Wish u luck in the lottery!

lorry drivers nowadays!!! what r they upto??

Lorry and pickup drivers r the worst road menace. My dads car also got hit by a lorry when he stopped at a redlight. exact scenario as the thread starter.

Most of the drivers come from PRC, India, Indonesia and third world countries. They drive here like they do in their home country. When ever I see a lorry or pickup i keep far far away. I dont even park next to one.

Nowadays i see big huge lorries also travelling above 100kph on extreme right lane of the expressway...even when the sticker on the back shows speed limit is 60kph....and our sinkapoor poddle force dont do anything. all the LTA is good for is erecting erp gantries and collecting traffic fines.

In this case, the lorry driver is a Singaporean. (pink IC... while taking down his particulars... realise he lives nearby too)

Seriously... I dunno where is he rushing to... or what is he thinking?! (or sleeping)

Thinking back... Luckily my family is ok... if not... really dunno how

Luckily no one was seated in the third row. Or else the shattered glass will definitely scratch the passengers at the back. Moreover the impact might cause serious back injuries.
