Richard2001 Neutral Newbie January 1, 2011 Share January 1, 2011 Yup , outlander indeed is 6spd AT and you can control 2WD or 4WD I don't know about outlander because i doesn't drive one before .... But i own a CR-V , The car is really very smooth , i manage to drive around 140km/h in BKE and it still handle very well , my car give me around 7.4km/l best manage to 9.9km/l but just won't get above 10km/l ... (perharps because of my rims) It is very roomy inside and the leg space is very huge , and the car is perfect if you are around 175cm tall . but i doesn't like my seat because it is fabric, but then i manage to change it to leather with additional $300 dollars .. as for power , the car is not really that powerful but then we are in singapore , so i don't really mind mine is from parallel import so it a FWD .... drove for 3 years and it doesn't give me any problem and i am happy with it if you need to know more , just ask me .. Hi, can advise how the cash rebate and overtrade work? Thx. ↡ Advertisement

Friendstar Supercharged January 1, 2011 Share January 1, 2011 u should seriously consider the Toyota Rush / Daihatsu Terios. good reliable no frills SUVs. Terios also have the 7 seater version. all Made in Japan.
Sky_vinz Clutched January 2, 2011 Share January 2, 2011 I wish to have a SUV too..! My criteria: - Below/or 2,000cc due to insurance and road tax. - Manual. - 4wd or Awd. And I've only manage to find Daihatsu Terios 1.5M as the only choice. Wonder if I can indent a Honda Crossroad 2.0M 4wd or Subaru Forester 2.0M Awd. It'll be so much fun I believe. Rayoflight 5th Gear January 2, 2011 Share January 2, 2011 I think you wont go wrong with the crv, my dad has already change 3generations of CRV and he is currently driving the new 2.4L. Occasionally i do drive it to pick him up from the airport. Smooth drive, when u need the power, it delivers. Better resale as well with honda badge. Interior wise is typical honda, like what u see in a Civic. Nice speedo with nice odo meter computer. Good steering feel and handling. I have my Harrier as well which is quiet, spacious and reliable. Doesn't give problems within this 2yrs of ownership but is boring!

I didn't know the CR-V has parallel import FWD version?! I guess among the choices, i wld prefer the CR-V. But those who own or drive a CR-V before, it is a 2.0 or 2.4?! Anyway, if u r getting a used CR-V, confirm can get one below 80K.
