Ipad or Galaxy Tab

Guess the Ipad2 will be the saviour to have the best of both.

Big screen with camera and USB connectivity. Then all it needs is a good JB and restrictions are gone.

As time goes by...... I'm liking the performance of the pad more than the tab. Big screen being one thing (no need to pinch here & there to read).... but also the pad hardly has any lag compared to the tab.

BIG Samsung problem apparently. I've been reading that it manifests itself on all their galaxy range of devices.

Turbocharged

Nope, but sounds like someone is jealous of itunes free people [:p] [:p] [:p]

(Hope you realise I'm joking).

Steve Jobs had a very good strategy when he launched the ipod and itunes and combined all the hardware and software together into a progressive product suite. A lot of folks are thus locked in (and of course throw in the fan boys as well [:p] ). The way they bypassed all handset vendors, telco operators, software vendors etc in their charging mechanism, BRILLIANT! And of course they had been for some time the trend setter in terms of technology, aesthetics, design and good UI.

I got as a X'mas present "The Presentation Secrets of Steve Jobs". I have not read it yet. But first, I need to buy and wear a black turtleneck first. [laugh]

Andorid is a good alternative to the Apple range of products. User friendly as well but if you are a bit more tech savvy, you can really personalise your phone and tablet.

Played around with the new WP7 phone. Not bad at all. Too bad their Apps market still at infancy stage while both Apple and Android's app market have already grown large. MS really dictated to the handset manufacturers a lot of rules to follow. In the long term, is this going to be a bad thing?

After the touch screen phone, what will be the next form factor and technology which will pick up in a big way? No crystal ball. YET! [laugh]

Its better that they set a min requiremnet on the hardware than not. Just look at androids, a kot of low end andriod but in actual fact. Performance is slow.
