13177 Hypersonic January 19, 2011 Share January 19, 2011 ^ If its real CF then its ok. I got real CF boot... ppl think its fake... so sad *White/black cars if have to choose one, i'll go with white. Reason being both are just as hard to maintain but hairline scratches on black is very visible. scratches on white harder to see* I think abt the same, if there is any scratches or stains on white, still quite obvious la. But for me, if i were to choose btw white & black, wld also choose white than black. ↡ Advertisement

But for me, if i were to choose btw white & black, wld also choose white than black. to add on, i once spray my prev. car white.. i will never do it again... to keep it looking tidy i had to literally wash it almost EVERYday. or at least once every 2-3days. not kidding. If not, u'll start to see dust and black dirt accumulate, esp along the rain gutter areas. its a b**** to upkeep white. Tohto Hypersonic January 19, 2011 Share January 19, 2011 i used to have a blackie... swirl marks and dirt damm obvious grey is best Yes, black colour will have obvious swirl mark, rain drop mark after it dry by itself. Need a lot of polishing or waxing to maintain it. I give up doing this after driving my black for for 1.5yrs. Now just normal washing every 2 week. Actually for any light colour, u will see dust & dirt on the car body if you dun wash often or after raining. But swirl mark wld not be obvious on light color but very obvious on black colour. Civic6228 6th Gear January 19, 2011 Share January 19, 2011 My current and previous car are both black ............ and I have owned white, dark grey, gold, blue and maroon cars in the past. Between Black and White, I would prefer Black as white will turn yellowish over time. What that is good about black is that the car will look "good" after a good wash, polish and wax. In my MSCP, there was 3 new cars of my previous cars in Grey, Black and Gold. And seriously, my blackie looks the best after 2 years. The grey look old and the gold looks dull. If white and black needs the same amount of maintenance, I will chose black anytime.

Yaloryalor 5th Gear January 20, 2011 Share January 20, 2011 Black or White is better/easy to maintain ... ? explain ? I would say white is easier to maintain than black. My current car is white and previous 2 cars are black. For black, you need to polish regularly else you will notice there are fine scratches possible cos by your cleaning cloth. Also after rain you will see the water marks are very obvious on the black car. ↡ Advertisement
