Ipwnj00 Neutral Newbie January 23, 2011 Share January 23, 2011 Hi guys, I was thinking of changing my black smoked LED tail lights out from my swift. Actually, wanted to get the swift sport red tailights to replace what i have now but i still wanna be unique. The black smoked LED i have is not passable as there are no reflectors in it. But i heard from some bros that there are a few models in the market that is LTA passable. Usually, it's the clear smoked ones where the reflectors can be seen and i think it does not affect light emission. Anyone can confirm this? Im asking because if ROV catches, i will get fine for a lot of other things, so trying to be subtle here :P Tailight 1 Tailight 2 Regards, ipj ↡ Advertisement
Rb26dett Clutched January 26, 2011 Share January 26, 2011 if you really like it , just go ahead and have it installed . do it first , think later . its just a tail light replacement so even if there's a probability that you might get caught , the fine wouldnt be expensive anyway . Shull Turbocharged April 14, 2011 Share April 14, 2011 depends on mood of inspectors and where you go for inspection.. i kena before, those Altezza type tailights on Civic ES.. Vicom Bt Batok passed me, but 2yrs later, STA Ayer Rajah failed me.. They say as long as not original, cannot..
Pocus Turbocharged April 14, 2011 Share April 14, 2011 My Swift still uses tinted rear lights since 2006....till now no issues on the road with TP even though I encounter them riding beside me countless times. My guess tinted rear lights is the lowest priority on their list and their rather lookout for other stuff to summon... During my inspection, I just fix back my original taillights. Swift's taillights are chickenfeet to dismantle and swap....all you need is 1 philip screwdriver. When you buy, look at how they fix so next time can DIY during inspection. Snl2601 Clutched April 14, 2011 Share April 14, 2011 It will only attract white ants more for this type of rear lamps..
