Now that the election is coming... what changes do YOU want to see? Opposition to take over more seats? Say, 5 seats this time by opposition, how much difference would they make? Look at Hougang and Potong Pasir... have they been able to make significant changes to politics in Singapore??

Pls lah. You are not voting for major changes, you are only voting for the person in charge of yr area. In terms of politics you won't see significant changes in policies in sgp. So dun be naive and think you will see significant changes. If you want to see go watch CNN or BBC on the situation in Egypt and Libya.

MP for Hong Kah Group Representation Constituency (GRC) Amy Khor said she is ready to stand in the newly announced Hong Kah North Single Member Constituency (SMC).

She added that decision ultimately lies with the People's Action Party on the candidate to field.

"If the party asks me to, I'd be happy to do so, especially as it's in a ward where I've been serving in the past 10 years," Dr Khor said.

"And I think I've worked well with the grassroots to serve the residents. "

Dr Khor said she wasn't surprised that the electoral boundaries have been redrawn to create a Choa Chu Kang GRC due to new developments in the past few years.

"The name Hong Kah GRC appears to be a misnomer, and a large part of Hong Kah GRC is in fact within the Choa Chu Kang area, such as Yew Tee and Keat Hong.

"So I think putting together Yew Tee, Keat Hong, Bukit Gombak and Choa Chu Kang and calling it Choa Chu Kang GRC seems more appropriate," she said.

Dr Khor added she welcomes the opposition to contest in Hong Kah North, as it would give voters a chance to think of what they want from their MPs.

I realised that a lot of ppl dun seem to be happy about our garment.

Is true.. from various forum, my colleagues and friends.. a lot.. really a lot..

But back to reality, how many will vote others?

I did ask some of my colleagues who keep complaining and saying they how bad and really curse n swear at them.. but when i asked about the coming election, will they vote for them... they kept quiet and change topic...

Well what does this spells? I am not sure and dun wana speculate.

Just like i hate my boss and no matter how i curse and swear at my boss, i still have to work for him...

Why?? Lan Lan.. cos i dun have the bargaining chips to move on.

So to sum up everything, the winner is clear this time round...
