yep so if i feel like "chionging" i change to higher sport mode. if i feel relaxed then eco mode. i didn't mean it as a performance enhancing product but it does improve the IMPRESSION of the performance.

 

Can I make a suggestion? All modern ATs have an ecu that controls how soon or late it changes gears. One of those inputs is from the throttle position sensor which is linked to your pedal. This is the sensor that the device adjusts the signal from. You can do the same by pushing the pedal further. Take for e.g. if you floor you pedal all the way, your AT won't change gear till it hits the rpm limit for each gear its in.

 

P.S. Another trick to doing this is to move your seat one notch back from normal for eco driving, and one notch forward from normal for spirited driving xD

Assuming people who have a slight interest in this Epower go do a quick browse on the official webbie, and after reading about the Qi still go ahead and install, it really says what kind of mindset towards mod they have. I can't imagine any petrol head going ahead with mods after reading about Qi.

 

Or maybe those who end up installing didn't really bother to do any research at all, which I guess is the most probable.

Once a while I also wish that I can believe in some "fairytales" .. I really tried..closed my eyes, 5s later..nope, no such think as "fairytales".

i installed EPOWER in my WRX previously..

 

initially dynoed 430hp torque 490. after install, dynoed 600 hp torque 890... everyone faster go install. good stuff!!

 

i kill tons of GTRs, Lambo and etc, thanks to EPOWER!!

1) The witch hunts in the 14th century were based EXACTLY on why you think this snake-oil works. IMAGINATION AND FALSE/MISLEADING INFORMATION. If you like the "feel" however FALSE IT IS, good on you. Just because their imagination was based on paranoia and yours on hope doesn't make it different. Its still just your imagination.

 

2) Just because your imagination makes you think it works, it doesn't mean it does. Similarly because their imagination in the 14th century made them think some people were witches doesn't mean they were.

 

3) At the end of the day, if you come here claiming some product works (regardless of if you're the maker, user, etc), make sure you have evidence. If you don't, then don't bother promoting it based on your imagination.

 

4) You can't prove that God exists, but neither can it be proven that he doesnt. For snakeoils it can be proven if they work or not. There is a HUGE difference.

 

5) Don't be confused. We actually do understand how cars work, and how performance can be measured. Thats why we can tell you its a snake oil.
