The ECU mapping is slightly different. The 1.8 in the 180CGI is what we call a M271 RE version and it has reduced output due to minor internal differences such as the piston design etc.

 

It is not merely the ECU so you cant' actually tune it up to be a 200 without doing some hardware mods. That said you can tune it to give similar or more horsepower than a C200 but it will still have a lower modding potential

1. If you would like to know, not all ADs provide factory fitted leather. For C&C the fitting for some is done by Tomo leather here. Furthermore, that was probably for an isolated case. Also as mentioned, I provide a service to bros in which they can give me the VIN number of the vehicle be it PI or AD and I will generate a verify and prove that a certain option is indeed present.

 

I have state the model of the car and double check with C&C. FYI, my leather seats that comes from C&C and it comes with a tag from Mercedes. So now, what happens to PI? Why is it different? Anyone can tell me exactly what went wrong? So who is original? C&C swear by it that theirs is original and I tend to believe that they won't risk to lose their dealership over some leather seats. I can't say the same for PI. Sounds logical?

That time I kept going to Tan Chong to harass them..No choice got to practice adjusting back the seat everytime, till now I get so pro without any difficulty
