Sorry, on the Elantre side you should add 6 Air-bag, Cruise control as well as reversal camera image on the rear view mirror. Beside tat it does comes with Auto light as well as rain sensor. This is for the High end model of $89,999 which you have listed.

So, I rather give-up GPS & Blue tooth in exchange for 6 air-bag and Cruise control. Cos these 2 you cannot get from outside. Whereas the Bluetooth & GPS you can get it outside of different brand.

So, you tell me. What's your choice?

okie 2 cars, which one would you choose and why?

Forte - 122 bhp 6 speed. Auto lights, auto rain sensor. Bluetooth Phone, keyless entry, GPS with nice intergration. reverse sensor 83999

elentra. 130 bhp 6 speed. Auto lights (xenon??) rain sensor.Bluetooth??? auto folding mirrors??? keyless entry. 6 airbags, cruise control, reversal camera image on the rear view mirror,. reverse sensor??? i heard also 10 way electric driver seat. 89999

but then again. what about xenon lights( big plus if have)? and bluetooth integration in to the steering wheel would be nice!

thing with cruise control is the use of it, for me, i don think its much use. too many traffice lights and too shorts of distance to use, further more i don go up north often.

From the way you put it ... it boils down to your affordability already cos you dont need the additional gadgets in Elantra... rite...??? [laugh] [laugh] [laugh]

When to check it out on sat. Not bad i would say but I don really feel much for the centre console. It kinda looks weird. And not the location of the aircon vents, your left hand will prob be frozen whn driving. Design wise is gd, everything else is ok. An upgrade for the current avante owners i would say. =)

Elantra/Avante. More features, better looks and of course better in reliability compared with KIA.

IMHO....Elantra no test drive. If u did not test drive it, you will not know the car. U are just buying based on specs, features and looks. In the long run, it will be the "drivability" of the car and not the feature set that makes u happy. If the looks and features satisfied u, then book it. I am not sure whether there is an option from Hyundai to cancel the order if u do not like it when the test drive is done. If so, then go for it. If u do not like it, then can look at other car.

:)

I test drive the Cruze and Fluence twice. On paper, the Cruze has higher power engine and lighter(from what I could check) but I feel the Fluence has better pickup and drive is "shioker", so I bought Fluence.

Fyi. forte 2011 does not comes with rain sensor and no integration GPS(additional cost). U forget to add paddle shifters as well. Also, it is 124 bhp. :D
