Same as me lo. First day, my huawei router spoilt. I damn dulan, went straight to M1 and exchange new one lo. To improve the wireless, just buy a add on wireless router lo to bridge connection. But i dont see the purpose of doing it as i had lay 2 LAN cable into my room. Wired speed is the best and stable.

Have you called M1 to upgrade your huawei router firmware to a new version, it will improve the speed.

If you have 100mb plan, the wired download speedshould be around 80-90++, you 60mb seem like slow, i guess is your pc spec is bottleneck. Best is you check your PC spec.

best thing is M1 TREAT IT LIKE NOTHING.....say no problem you first 1

la first 1...now so many bro here said spoilt

hope blood# COO/COE SEE THIS

my m1 router or residential gateway(RG) is working properly, no issue ... like i mentioned, my pc just bext to the router is giving me full speed for what i am paying for.

anyway, i dun think i can change as i need the RG for my home phone line.

for my block the installation was last yr but for the same concerns, wires alr concealed swee swee, new reno etc..i did not take up the offer to install. anyw these tech stuff, it wil b some time before it becomes absolute crucial for living.

may be by the time it goes fully live...i move house already...so i skipped it..

if u want stable connection, use cables.. if u are using wireless, u cannot expect the speed to be fast or the same as using cables..

unless the electrician is licensed by openet. the eqpt remains the property of openet, so if your electrician move, it or spoil it, then you gotta pay for a replacement.

It an optical fibre, not electrical wire. Its very fragile. Once broke its gone, cannot black tape together one hor.

think you use direct connection(plug cable into computer) rather than by using wirless connection.

ths is the weird part ....

just bought my trunking in the afternoon after work and got it all done up. used a 10m utp cable between the M1 router and my pc .... this i what i got :

i thot maybe it was the afternoon traffic, but even at 5 am in the morning, still such poor results ??

maybe have to go back to wireless instead.
