my ws use an EO that he claimed that used by conti cars :p

 

Even in Europe ty hv cheepo lousy oils used by Conti cars.

 

Does not mean oil used fr conti car automatically means it is good.

 

Check the specs n the background n how long ty in the market 1st.

 

Then see the price if its worth or not.

$65 for how many liters, what weight n is it fully syn?

 

I get fully syn 40weight C@rlube at <$30/5 lit. If u wan better, go for Mobil 1 or RP 30 or 40weight.

 

But choice of oil or anything is up to the individual. Some wan cheap n good n some willing to pay much more.............for peace of mind.

 

But a warning, not everything expensive is good n not everything cheap is not good.

I am using Shell Helix Ultra at S$59 for 4-litre for my Honda Stream.

 

Oil filter only costs around S$12.

 

This engine oil is working fine for me and I service my car every 10,000km.

How much would a 30,000km servicing cost for a "small" Lexus like LS250?

Just oil and filter change, no spark plugs.

But the time spent to go to JB especially at the checkpoint now, i heard it is still quite a queue to get your passport chopped.

of cos dun just go in to service your car in a trip.

 

usually can go in shopping, show movie, giant, top up petrol , lunch , dinner... so overall still saving. The shop there is ok for me if you are saying normal servicing.

 

I went to the shop near KSL shopping centre. Change oil and filter RM15, change plug RM5, change ATF RM5, drain coolant RM5. All part I bring myself. You can watch do the changing.

 

you want I can recommend you a few shop to buy in SG.

 

As for the traffic, siao siao one. Weekend sometime go in got Jam sometime quite smooth. Depend on your luck

Dude, the above prices from Borneo or non AD WS?

My camel's 30K servicing at BM was S$275 and tyre rotation another $15.

Went there for not wanting to risk losing the warranty...
