Acieed 1st Gear June 9, 2011 Share June 9, 2011 You have not only 2 but 3 options. 1st option is a big detour, but smooth expressway all the way. A 3rd option is NSHW to Yong Peng/Segamat. This is the fastest route, and option 2 is the most scenic and interesting (e.g. places to stop, eat and see) route. There's already quite a few threads on SG-<->Cherating/Kuantan. Do a search. Yes, its B road all the way. Travel early morning to avoid traffic.
Dwoon 1st Gear June 9, 2011 Share June 9, 2011 Just ve careful on these roads when traveling in the wee hours / night. The darn wild animals will be attracted to the cars headlights. During the CNY break when I took a drive to Mersing, I hit an animal (looked like a racoon) going at around 110km/h. It dashed across the road and then suddenly decided to dash back.......Bloody cracked my spolier...... ↡ Advertisement
