I don't find the A&W at the Ayer Keroh RnR nice. Both the bun from hamburger or hot dogs are hard. Think they are overnite buns..

it's a remap fiat doblo 1.9 jtd.

150bhp 250nm torque. stock 105bhp 200nm torque.

average ard 160km/h, the road was really empty, and push when ever the is empty space in front,, ( max abt 200km /h only) but mostly doing ard 170-180 cos need a bit of distance to slowly hit 200km/h

speed it does not have, but it does have stamina ...

good thing it comes with a 60 liter fuel tank, and running on diesel, even maxed out, it does abt 10 km/h

if do ard 130-150 constantly, think it can do 900km easily... if 100-120 think 1000km should not be a problem

 

penang in a tank,, phuket in 2 tank of diesel.

TBH, same as most fast junk food in Singapore. Just go there for old time memories, freshly microwaved A&W waffle and coney dog.

Ayam and daging more juicy than in Singapore. [laugh]

Impressive. I was thinking of something more powerful. Must have been crazy to see a Doblo hurtling down the NSHW at 200km/h. [laugh]

The total distance is about 700+km. For a 6 hr and below run, the mathematical average speed is around 120km/h. But in reality, you'll have to push towards 200km/h whenever possible and try sustained cruises of 180km/h to make up for the stops and hold-ups. It can be done if the traffic condition is relatively light and dry road. I just did the trip from Penang to sgp in 6hrs including stops and a 45min lunch.

Come to think of it, travelling at a near constant 200kmh (lets assume the car is capable of more than the speed in terms of handling/stability/braking etc), the other factors like driver, weather, road+traffic conditions will come into play. Usually on NWHwy, only about 50% of the time these factors are in favourable conditions for constant speed of 200 and above. (excluding 11pm- 6am runs)

 

At these speeds, a slight human error or unexpected 'road conditions' are very hard to correct safely. Remember the case 1-2 years back when a few SGP cars kena 'embushed' by man-made 'debris' on NSHwy where GTRs and few supercars had their lower bodywork 'torn' iirc?

 

But the good feeling sitting behind the wheel and 'eating up' km after km and hitting bends/corners one after another at 200+ is quite something , or on a deserted stretch doing this side by side with frens in their cars is
