Yes sure over heat.

I kana before and very troublesome to go back to exchange.

Now I only on it when driving.

I totally gave up on the motion detect function where you need it to run 24/7.

bought from video pro at sls class 10 16gb at $17...warranty by Kairu....not VM.

yea too many overheating issues for blackvue dr400, thats y i have stopped selling it & source for more reliable korean brands. <_<

 

 

Sorry off topic but still very curious. How are you related to Wow Gadgets?(presumably the official distributor of Blackvue)

Sorry noob observation, would your various "less than positive" statements about Blackvue and various RMA issues be deemed as "sabo" your competitor. sorry again if I am out of line asking this question.

They work the same way as selling of cars.

 

Wow Gadgets = AD

I see...no reasons for me to question the 101% bit...but a PI selling only Merc should not be initiating discussions about various reliability issues seen in VW, Audi, BMW, etc etc. Otherwise, people may misinterpret the whole thingy.

 

Imagine Merc pre-own division advertising in the papers...Selling 2 months old BMW due to owner upgrading to Merc because of poor reliability of his BMW....Surely will cause an uproar [laugh][laugh]

If u track the record of this "PI", u will notice he bring in various brands from China to Korea to Taiwan. He himself is also an end user of the products he selling.

 

He is only telling the truth. We all faced with the same overheating issue and have to limit the DR400 to drive recorder only.

I see...the readers deemed SC's comments as factual and never intended to undermine his competition. Now I begin to read his comments about BV from a different perspective. thanks for clarifying. I am one of the early adopters of BV myself.

 

The fact that the authorised dealer did not step in to defend their products is rather unsettling. Maybe I better look elsewhere for my 2nd DVR.

hi all,

 

i regularly format my class 6 SD stock card (twice a week, without fail) but still getting corruption on SD card (funny character). Luckily i check the card regularly otherwise i wont know that recording is not written on the card correctly.

 

Any idea why this funny character getting more frequent?

I am the PI of various car dvr, and my customers including myself have faced overheating issues. The reason why i have stop importing is to wait for them to resolve the issue, & for now i wouldnt want to just sell, earn profits & bring headaches to my customers or myself for the RMA in future, which is the problem i am having now. [bigcry]

 

I dont deny it is a good product, but still have some issues unsolved.

If u have follow through from my first post till now, I have never initiate the topic of it overheating, & rather, this is brought up by the users of it themselves.

I am just stating my honest opinion & in no way, trying to sabotage anyone.

 

You may want the users to share their experiences here with u.

You can try to run a scandisk with had sector check after a format to see if it is a hardware problem. SD cards have a lifespan where each bit can only be writen a certain number of times.

 

Either that or there's some corruption during the video recording. I sometimes notice an error when the Blackvue write to the card during shutdown or changing from normal to incident mode. Which is why I set each video segment to 2 min now.

Not trying to sabo your products. Bro Adrian has clarified it clearly enough regarding your relationship to BV products. Did my earlier post not indicate this already?

 

I was just amused by Donut's post just now and decided to go along with it. Frankly, I still don't understand what Donut was saying but it doesn't matter if I don't understand.

 

I did ask you how you are related to the AD in my earlier post but others have answered on your behalf.
