Yes u can change just the switch but last time my Corona switch spoil, I got a 2nd hand replacement from scrapyard. Much cheaper.

Then give to yr ws to change or DIY if u know how.

Had my power window fail on me last night. Was at sg customs getting passport checked, so wound down window. When winding back up, I heard a loud PIAK! and the system wouldn't work. Could hear the motor churning but the window would not go up or down. Tried pulling it up while using the button, but the whole window dropped down out of sight!

Had a most unpleasant supper in JB, Spent 95% of my eye view on my car while eating.

So I did some research on this forum when I got back. Found the contact of Mr Tan of powerwindow9797.

I called him at 11am today, he came by my place at 12.30pm and fixed and replaced the regulator (steel wire/pulley system). In 10 min, he was done, I paid and everything was done. Quite impressed with the speed and service. Not that expensive too. Not sure if different cars cost different, but he charged less than $200 for my BMW 320i rear window driver side.
