Sosaria Twincharged July 21, 2011 Share July 21, 2011 (edited) It's kind of like repetitive drilling, if you ask me. It will work for kids that are academically average, don't catch ball that fast, so just need to drill, drill, drill the same steps over and over again till they are familiar and therefore go on to score 'A's in their exams. Very Jap/Korean/China style of learning... Both good and bad, and you have to decide for yourself after seeing it. Smarter kids who understand the concept behind the problem-solving very quickly (i'm referring to mathematics here), will find the above style of learning very boring and stifling. But the plus point is that for many parents who don't have time to make sure their kids are getting enough practice at home... well, can rely on classes like this to ensure that their kids put in sufficient revision hours under supervision. Outsourcing! Edited July 21, 2011 by Sosaria

Jman888 Moderator July 21, 2011 Share July 21, 2011 (edited) Kumon not Kumo 4 to 8 is fine, it train the brain through repetitive exercise so that they recognize pattern faster. They also disciplined a kid on time management which i think is good for kids of that age. Edited July 21, 2011 by Jman888 ↡ Advertisement
