Jackspeed Neutral Newbie December 30, 2011 Share December 30, 2011 Hi Janling3, I believed you are the one that called me yesterday and I hope I have replied you accordingly. By the way, if you car previously was purchased from PI, it might not be fitted by Jackspeed, the other way to confirm is to look at the leather as the emboss design is different. Let me know when you are dropping by. Thanks! ↡ Advertisement
Jackspeed Neutral Newbie December 30, 2011 Share December 30, 2011 Hi Zenith_Mazda, For full leather, the price will be $ 1.2k, excluding GST, encompassing your 2 tone requirement. As reiterated, we are using OEM automotive grade complying to various standard, including the Euro standards. Our prices may look at bit steep but it's certainly not unreasonably high. We don't aim to be the lowest, we only aim to provide good quality products that customer can remember for long (We claim this as value for money, know what you are paying for) and I personally think that this is the most important since a car is not a cheap possession. Hope that explains! Thanks!
Psfong Clutched January 1, 2012 Share January 1, 2012 Hi jack speed, happy new year. Is the promotion still on? I have a Toyota sienta, wonder how much to fix up full leather? Also, is it possible to add more cushion to the 2nd row so that it's deeper?
Jackspeed Neutral Newbie January 3, 2012 Share January 3, 2012 Hi Psfong, Thanks for your enquiry! Yes, the promotion is still on till CNY. Yes, we can add cushioning accordingly so that the seats feels and looks "Bloated" for the extra cushioning, this is something we have done for many of our customers. Is there any specific colours you are looking at? If you can drop by, it will be great. Let us know, you can either look for me (Dez) 96951379 or my colleague Joan at 67882088 or [email protected]. Jackspeed Neutral Newbie January 30, 2012 Share January 30, 2012 Dear all, I would always advocate to go for quality first than price. For a few simple reasons, unlike furniture leather, car interior is subjected to more harsher punishment such as UV, Heat and dryness (Presuming air-con is always on). UV and heat is one of the most damaging factors to age the leather expeditiously, therefore the quality of the leather with such compliance will be crucial. Flame retardancy is also another crucial consideration. However, with the rising uncertainties in the economy, we will try our best to fulfill as much as we can. If budget is your main considerations, then I would suggest to be more flexible on colour while not compromising comfort and quality. Everynow and then, we have various colours in promotion, do take note that these are not second grade quality leather but rather, an initiative to fulfill a broader market place, and create more awareness to the general public about our quality. Please do not hesitate to contact us at 67882088, 96951379 or [email protected] and look for either Joan or Dez should you have any enquiries or clarifications. Thanks! Good-Carbuyer 1st Gear January 30, 2012 Share January 30, 2012 (edited) For a moment, I thought you want to change to fabric from leather. Often parked under the sun, so fabric not as hot as leather (sensitive butt). Anyone knows of shops that change leather seats to fabric seats? Many thanks. Jackspeed Neutral Newbie February 6, 2012 Share February 6, 2012 Dear all, Hypothetically, a full upholstery for a typical 2 row sedan will set back around 600-2500. A few considerations that might affect price will be:- 1) Type of leather selected. 2) Whether is it full leather, combi-leather or full PVC. 3) Any change of design and complexity of the design change 4) Seats configuration, whether the seat is a normal seats or a racing or semi-racing bucket seats The above are just some of the factors that will affect the price. Apart from those mentioned above, the most important impact will be the origin of the leather and the specifications required of the leather. For example, assuming leather hikes from same Tannery, OEM Automotive Compliance specs will be more expensive than the normal compliance or the easier compliance as more treatment is required for ensure the leather complies to the standards call for, such as EURO, ASTM, DIN, BS, ISO, Japan etc standards. Hope these are some of the points I can share so that those that shop around for upholstery will know what they are paying for eventually.
