Throttle2 Supersonic October 15, 2011 Share October 15, 2011 (edited) Tried both Personality and dreamland. Not too bad but both are not to my liking. Personality is more modern style and Dreamland is old style. Both not my style Men's Tradition is the worst of the three. I wont recommend any becos it's personal. however Oxford at OUB does quite a good job. Edited October 15, 2011 by Throttle2
Throttle2 Supersonic October 15, 2011 Share October 15, 2011 Can anyone recommend a tailor to do a suit. budget is less than $1k. that is a fair budget and can get you a good enough, well cut tailored suit. Whats left is really the style you are trying to achieve. peak lapel? side vents or center vent? 2 buttons or single button? double breasted? slim cut or generous cut? and of course the pants. so many different styles . I recommend you look at some good men's magazines like GQ or Esquire and choose something that fits your body, and height. if you are fat and not tall dont do 3 buttons. go for 2 buttons if you like to put your hands in your pocket like me, go for side vents. if you like a more business look, go for a notched lapel, i prefer lounge and flamboyance so i always choose peak lapels. lots of fun. I enjoy wearing suits, especially casual ones, but in singapore a bit hot. it is one of he most stylish things a man can don if he knows what he is doing. enjoy your experience

Lightbringer 6th Gear October 15, 2011 Share October 15, 2011 You won't go wrong with Joe's at Golden Shoe Carpark in the CBD. Decent prices and real quality. Avoid those tailors at Peninsula if you're going for real quality - they exists only to serve the budget segment of the market who don't mind wearing thermally bound suits or such. Davidklt Supercharged October 15, 2011 Share October 15, 2011 I tried Joe's tailor before..very good service but I think their suits starts from $1300 onwards? which exceed the TS's budget. Maybe can try Sparks at OUB Center http://www.sparktailor.com/contact.htm. You won't go wrong with Joe's at Golden Shoe Carpark in the CBD. Decent prices and real quality. There are a handful of good ones at Peninsula. budget tailored suit can also be quite well cut and nice. They usually cost about $500 - $700. But dont expect too much from the fabric or material Edited October 15, 2011 by Throttle2

Meanmachine Supercharged October 15, 2011 Share October 15, 2011 Try ' Rossi ' tailor, they have few branches around town, suit can be slightly higher than TS budget, but U get value and quality, latest cut and design. I made most of my shirt/pants from Rossi, Personality and dreamland & others too, after 6months plus U 'll noticed the collar started to have air-bag, so go for quality cut and workmanship. Personally, I feel that BKK, Thailand tailor can produce excellent cut/design of your choice, I go only otel's in house tailor, nothing less. After 2 years, they still looks damn good. I called it C&G
