Speedsun Clutched November 25, 2011 Share November 25, 2011 why no car behind still need to signal? U meant signalling only for behind cars? Then car makers are stupid to spend money to have built front and side signal lights.
Eyke Supercharged November 25, 2011 Share November 25, 2011 why no car behind still need to signal? for the times when there r bikers hidden in ur blind spots, who will be sideswiped by u if u just change lane suddenly w/o signalling. even if u dun mind killing bikers, i tink u'll mind the police investigation, court case and resultant stress and down-time
Speedsun Clutched November 25, 2011 Share November 25, 2011 Thats the reason i remind myself to signal for every single turn whether there are cars anot... guess its a habit that everyone must cultivate... and i heard ppl got fine for not signalling as well... so in order not to make any donations, i spend that extra 0.01 secs to signal my intentions... It is a traffic rule to signal not a habit. Those people who like to argue not necessary to signal when no cars around, I wonder if they dare to do it if they require to go for TP test in order to get their license again. They can just tell the testers, "No cars! Signal for what! Let the ghosts to see?".
Speedsun Clutched November 25, 2011 Share November 25, 2011 Bro, I understand ur frustration. I encounter another idiot who juz came in my lane without signallin so i horn at him. Is tat wrong? We were side by side at a traffic light & i made a gesture at him to signal next time. He not happy la. He wind down the window & so did i. Started to shout at me askin why must i horn. So i shout back at him. F*** him upside down til he can't reply. His wife tried to act peacemaker. Was also a rainy day. Anyhow change lane causin me to jam brake. Rainy day & coz of such idiots accidents may happen. Spoiled my mood la. Was juz comin back from Giant, bought some durians & happily chattin wif wife & this stupid old b*****d comes along & spoils my mood. So wen someone cuts into ur lane without indicatin, wat do u do? if can't horn den got horn for wat? Don't horn den wat, give him a present ah?!! Signal so hard meh!? Aiyah don't understand this selfish drivers la. Anyhow drive causin problems to other road users. I like your reply!

They can just tell the testers, "No cars! Signal for what! Let the ghosts to see?". whatever your theories, test and real life driving are two different things.... test never asks me to check my rear view mirrors 3 times, but i do that sometimes just to be sure... when there's no car all round for the next 1000m, i can choose not to give signals... (not that I will be very strict on not giving them though) Edited November 25, 2011 by KARTer
Speedsun Clutched November 25, 2011 Share November 25, 2011 filtering need to let car in front know?? maybe.... Signalling is to do ahead before entering the filtering lane for others to anticipate your action, not put up your signal only at filtering or during filtering. Calvin79 2nd Gear November 25, 2011 Share November 25, 2011 why no car behind still need to signal? Habit bro.... once u get into a right habit of signalling everytime regardless of situation it will do everyone well a long way...

Now have so many drivers are having in-car cameras, anything that never do right on the roads that causes an accident, insurers may able to use it as an argument point not to give 100% to the "victim". Speedsun Clutched November 25, 2011 Share November 25, 2011 if get caught, just pay up............ That's why I mentioned "up to you". A simple signalling may cause me to lose up to thousands of dollars, I believe I am not a dumb.
