Wah seh. Chop sia. They wanted to take in my stock 16' at $50. So i thought maybe they selling at $100.

rims may need to touch-up, repair due to scratches, dents, warp before can resell again. Do you think you can buy a flawless rim from someone and resell to another person?

this is not the american show, American Picker, whereby they buy from someone and resell to someone based on original condition.

hmm..since u hv asked around quite a few shops and their prices are around that range, it could mean market price. it is your asking price that could be ridiculous.....maybe with your budget, u probably want to look at steel rims instead of alloy rims. dude....is always abt setting expectation

was told steel rim even more value..

<_<

they take $50 & find place to store your rims till someone buy(need to touch up too)..

their place all need rental one(let them earn abit lah)..

last time Arrow tyre take in my stock(15') also $50 & upgrade 16' & just pay $200 for it..

ok lah no complain..

yeah, precisely.

regardless how well is your rim.

thus $100, is already paying the customer and the boss..

sigh... nvm, sat treasure hunting..

i also don't know how i'm going to transport the 4 rims on my 1.2cc.. [laugh]

although i did that before, from malaysia to sg

just very dirty and heavy

not necessary unless market is shortage of steel otherwise steel rims still cheaper than allow rims.

well, i wanted to spray them into the color i desired.

current rim, i bought them too high price, they are nice thus don't wish to destory them..

thus thinking of going scrapyard, get it done.

and keep the current rim for future ride.

hopefully.. they entertain me..

must find some chicks, give half ball [laugh]

talking about ball, got weekday futsal??

i getting FAT!

What's your ride? If got club, go and post it under WTB section. $100 should be able to get. [laugh] i went scrapyard before, they also try to chop me.

yup, that's what they told me. i understand that, took my rims home and sell online as i think my very well maintain sports rims worth more than $12.5 each. haha. but i din know they will resell it at 600% the price they trade in. WTH.

scrapyard i snot the place for consumer please

Is a place they took in JUnk and resell as scrap matel.

So is better you go to shop that sell them and at least they have to make sure the old rim is reasonaly sound in terms of quality

and can always go back to them for any problem but this does not meant got warranty (old goods)

Bro, sorry to hijack ur thread...

I'm also lookong for scrap yard for my speedo. My speedo intermittently stop working.. Went to workshop and they change the sensor to my speedo but still problem persist.

When to workshop again and they say need to do a thorough check and still came up with no conclusion.. And the final verdict was my speedo. So need to source out for a used speedo...

bro for what ride?
