What to do in accident?

Just checking on appropriate actions needed in accident.

 

If major (car dented, window smashed, etc), definitely need to report to police and insurance company, right?

 

If minor one? Just settle on spot by paying (assuming I am wrong) and move on?

Whether major or minor accident if no injury no need to call police. Just exchange particulars and decide want to claim or not. If not claiming then discuss about the payment. Then report to your insurance within 24 hours.

 

If got casualty then call police and then just exchange particulars also.
