Mazdaowner Moderator January 25, 2012 Share January 25, 2012 you are so old liaos hahha. ya really seems like yesterday. One of the best times i remembered. I was trained by Israelis, old in age, but still young at heart and body. And those WERE the best times of my life. The smell of boot polish, starched uniforms, pure unadulterated torture in training, drilling, the bond we all had then, we still have that now, (I just had my old team and their family over for lunch and more yesterday, and we do it every year.) A band of men, of whom I call my brothers. HooYah! We Dare.

I went thru GCC (Guards conversion course) & GAC (guards assault course which consist of fast march, long four swim, fbo SOC and misc within hours) before getting my guards tab. Lebonchi 1st Gear February 18, 2012 Share February 18, 2012 I went thru my GCC at 03. I went thru GCC (Guards conversion course) & GAC (guards assault course which consist of fast march, long four swim, fbo SOC and misc within hours) before getting my guards tab. gone thru mine back in 89/90, then known as GNCC, for NCOs, now known as specialist. last mission was with super puma to Tekong for 3 or 5 days (too long already..forget the duration).. then came back at the last day morning followed by the presentation of the tabs in the afternoon, The guards tab was a very new item at that time, beret still green, only changed to kakhi colour during reservist
