Good-Carbuyer 1st Gear February 18, 2012 Share February 18, 2012 Anyone seen any place in west selling rain x latitude ? Been tring to find but most only have rain x whether beater... Based on previous encounter many years back, I suspect the used car I just bought had the front windscreen coated with such product. One wiper blade already slightly damaged. The wipers shudders on the rising stroke each time. Anyone got some ideas how to remove the chemical?

Many thanks. I was also musing to try that last night. I had not driven much in the rain since I bought the car.

Tried hand-washing liquid detergent instead. During lunchtime rain, found it hardly works. Could be the wiper blade rubber already affected by the rain-x chemicals. I will replace with new wiper blades and observe. ↡ Advertisement
