Sure thanks.....just want to get a feel of the CnC price range before going down.

SE surely will give good discount from the listed price.

But if I know the range of the usually discount from the listed price, then I can gauge whether the particular SE is sincere or holding back.

The heart can be easily swayed when the pretty SE gave a good discount on the spot from the listed price.

With more information, the heart will know whether the deal is reasonable or not. And will decide whether to buy or not from this particular SE.

If all SE will quote the same selling price and same freebies, then the purchase of CClass is simple and clear cut.

But apparently that is not the case from the forums and different feedback.

Differences can be. +- $1k to $5k differences.

So any guide from those who already bought would be helpful.

Thanks.

I am not asking for exact amount...just a range to know I am getting a good offer.

If I am not wrong. The first SE whom u speak to will log in your name and you "belong" to him/her .... IMO, it is not nice to go around "SE Hopping", at the end, you may end up getting a worse off deal ....

My suggestion for u ..... go and do some market research for your car that you are trading in ... the discount offered is more or less fixed.... but they can have some flexibility on the price for the trade in car (overtrade for the car) ....

And u have to play "hard to get".... give them your offer and let them decide if they want the deal ... 2 of my friends played hard to get and got good deal from C&C...

Neutral Newbie

That is why it is cheap, for newer design try the new A class or the BMW 316 twin scroll turbo, both are fairly stylish but at a price.

Better to top up a few k more and get the C180 CGI 1.6L model. Engine wise the same but with an improved torque and 7G-tronic. [:p]

Not sure since the last visit was pretty high. If my budget of $170k, I can now revisit tomorrow to nego with the SE, before the downpayment.

Ahem .... a few Ks ????? There is no 1.6 CGI lah ... the C180 and C200 CGI is using the 1.8 litres TC engine .... So CAT B COE ... I am sure that you know what is the price diference between a CAT A and CAT B COE ..... C&C is making good used of the C180K 1.6 Kompressor for the entry level .... clever usage of the SIngapore COE system .....

The 318i or 316i would be launched soon and it would be interesting to see how PML price both models. As a guide, the 116i is retailed at 157k and the 118i is retailed at 177k ..... and the 320i is retailed at 219k. I am predicting at the 318i would be retailed close to 190k and the 316 at 170k .....

The new B class is launched at 160 k and my prediction is that the A class should be priced below the B class to compete against the BMW 1 series and AUDI A1.

Read from Sgmerc that there is a new 1.6L turbo C180 coming. CnC is taking order for this car, likely a replacement for the current 1.6L kompressor.

Good news.

Hopefully it will be reasonably priced.

Turbocharged

the 7G tronic transmission makes a big difference - so if you can go for that ... you should. also. C&C normally gives a lot of freebies. (this way abt 2 yrs ago) but got servicing vouchers (abt 2k worth, iirc), reverse camera, reverse sensors (quite std), and the ipod kit was done quite cheaply as well. its a pretty zip car ... acceleration obviously isnt fantastic, but the handling is pretty good. even flooring it doesnt really make a diff, as someone pointed out earlier, the engine just sounds louder .. lol.

wasnt there a time when they were offering free command system upgrades (i cant recall if it was for the C class or the E class .. always wanted one .. but they were asking $10k for it as an option previously)
