New Help for Witness for accident last year

haiz. the stoopid insurer still insist tat i change lane as the guy probably swerve right and then damaged his left side and my car's back right bumper.

 

quite fedup tat the b------d twist his words to his insurer...now ask me whether got witness or photos, got photo also no use as the guy already shifted his vehicle....VERY ANGRY!

 

 

in the first never shift your car... so what if you are blocking the road or jam up the whole traffic... also nv report that driver drunk cos in both cases you are bound to suffer from being civi-minded or gracious.

 

in this society, it doesn't pay to be kind hearted and a good man..... I also learnt from my experience.

This statement is a good reminder to all motorists to:

1) record a video immediately if at all possible from the time of contact (if safe to do so). Get someone to do it via hp if available.

2) get a written agreement AT THE TIME OF NEGOTIATION!!! Use proper form available in available website or through posts contributed in this forum.

Hope you will eventually be exonerated and properly compensated; if you should have been, respectively.

NTUC has a form for their policy holders at the following link: Motor Private Settlement in pdf format.

Iirc, there were other links in threads relating to accidents within this forum but cannot remember exactly where.

Anyway, hope link provided is useful and perhaps may also be available (I believe) from some taxi companies website.

i tink cannot claim at all from what the guys say. go to court to get the guy to compensate via private settlement.

 

i call chartis n they insist i am at losing end as they say my damage is at corner of my bumper and the other car damage is at the left front. i believe he tried to swerve right before crashing into me while my vehicle was stationary. no choice but to admit 50% even though not at fault. feel very bek chek.

i am just trying my luck here, my car kenna bang by this stupid mercs driver last oct and now he flip his story, i need to look for witness who can help sustain my statement against his.

 

scenario: (happened last oct 12th 2011 around 730pm)

my car was idle behind yellow box at a 2 lane road. suddenly the mercs came from behind and bang into my car. as i was on reservist, hp was at home and i used my in car camera stored in my glove compartment to take picture (very poor quality pics). the guy already shifted his car and thus i also shifted to the side so as to not cause jam. he came down and apologize and say he willing to pay for damage. i took down his particulars and then left. then 6 mths later after i claim my own insurance first, his insurer came bk and say conflict of statement and only willing to pay 50%. i am so angry as i gave the guy a chance as i smell alcohol in him by not making police report, now he super good lo blur his insurance company. hope there is a kind witness who saw wat happened that day along woodlands ave 1 just before rosewood drive road.

 

Which lousy insurance company you are using ? Please share so that we can all boycott them. They have idiots working there !! Bang from rear have to bear 50% ? Will that be a industrial first ?

 

Next time...kenna kiss at the back, just claim 3rd party. Dun claim first party unless its necessary (like you bang pple or you wanna repair at agent workshop). Cos once you claim OD (Own Damage)...even you are found innocent and get your NCB reinstated...your record will still show that you claim OD before.

whenever there's accident. Be it your fault or not your fault or own settlement. You have to report to your insurer for record purpose.

Yes...Drink driving is not covered by insurance. If you suan kenna hit by drunk motorist...die die ask him to sign liability letter OR immediately report police. Later you dun get to claim insurance but if proven he is drink driving, you get to get rid of one prick off our road and taking civil action, you have the police report to back you up to file a claim against him/her.
