Tohto Hypersonic April 17, 2012 Share April 17, 2012 I will get the Assym 2. unless you are comparing with CSC 5.
Sturtles 6th Gear April 17, 2012 Share April 17, 2012 I'm using CSC3 for about 1 week now, and its good. It feels like an all rounded tire. Comfortable, quiet, grippy at bends and hard stops. Only the soft side walls give it more body roll than stiffer tires
Whisper_2000 Clutched April 17, 2012 Share April 17, 2012 Have used F1 A2 for about 6000km. Damn solid tyres. Dry stopping is very good & cuts thru water during rainy season vey well too. But don't expect it to be quiet. Won a few of awards. See here http://www.sgcarmart.com/directory/goodyea...urance-fuel-max Before i buy, i did reseach on tyres websites & most users & critics gave thumbs up for this tyres. Go F1 A2! Mazda6 Neutral Newbie April 17, 2012 Share April 17, 2012 Mine is 225/40/R18 I researched a few summer sports performance tyre and eventually narrow down to GY ASY2, CSC3, BS S001, etc To me, a balance between higher range performance, safety & price. I am willing to compromise on noise and comfort. Eventually opted for GY ASY2 coz: 1) New series and improvement from ASY 2) CSC3 is old ver as CSC5 is out but 18" not avail here. 3) GY ASY2 has scored well in many comparison test. Rank among the top 3 mostly. 4) Made in Germany I changed 4pc in March 2012. My opinion: Noise: Being new tyre, it's definitely quieter. But expect to get noiser as wear & tear occur. Dry: Very very slick. Really feel like the tyre is glue to the road. When you turn & corner, it just sticks to the road confidently in higher speed. (I am not advocating rally driving) Braking is excellent too as this tyre has ActiveBraking technology. Important for safety. Wet: No comments as I rather adhere to speed limit especially cornering. My live is more important regardless how excellent the wet holding or aquaplaning ability. Final verdit for now: Worth every cents!

Soya Supersonic April 18, 2012 Share April 18, 2012 Anyone used both b4? Care to share which is better in term of performance? Both tyres priced almost the same. I've used both CSC3 and F1 Assy 1 tho not on the same car so comparison may not be apple-to-apple. Both r quiet and ride comfort good. Steering feel and wet grip on F1s is subjectively better. But the CSC3 seems sibei long lasting. F1s used to last me abt 20k. The CSC3s do abt 28k longkang still looks deep deep wif hardly any deterioration in ride and grip. When it came to a new set of tyres recently, I opted for CSC3s again.
Beregond Supersonic April 18, 2012 Share April 18, 2012 I will get the Assym 2. unless you are comparing with CSC 5. same feeling. csc3 got 1 big problem with side wall cracking on its low profile size.
Rmteamrims 1st Gear April 18, 2012 Share April 18, 2012 same feeling. csc3 got 1 big problem with side wall cracking on its low profile size. Are you sure? Where's the source? The cracking sidewall was an prominent issue with the older batch of Goodyear Asymmetric tyres, the Asymmetric2 looks to be good so far..
