Vhtfhwlego Supercharged April 22, 2012 Share April 22, 2012 sometimes i turn down the music volume button, so that next morning it wont blast my ears when i turn the power/ignition key..... Come, join the serpent pit. U would not have these problems as radio tune itself down when u switch off the engine.
Vhtfhwlego Supercharged April 22, 2012 Share April 22, 2012 (edited) Yesterday after reading this thread, I observe myself the things I do: Getting in; Found the right car, unlock, flip car, open the door, slot myself in the driver seat & first thing I do, Step brake before inserting car key & cranking it. Getting out; Parked, engage gear, step n hold brake before system tells me it is safe to release footbrake. Sometimes remember to pull handbrake while sometimes forgot to. Step out, close door, check car is in lot, lock, flip back car key, walk away, turn back & smile at her. Just before she will be out of sight, turn again, smiled before walking towards the lift lobby. Edited April 22, 2012 by Vhtfhwlego

I check that aircon off and what's not supposed to be on is off, insert key, turn the key and wait for about 5 secs, clutch in, brake on (gear always in neutral when I park), then crank engine. Just a habit that I follow. Sometimes if got space, I will look underneath the vehicle to inspect for any stains or liquid on the floor, as well as general observation of the undercarriage. And the no footwear thing is real.

TameDriver Twincharged April 22, 2012 Share April 22, 2012 btw, do you drive with high heels? i know some do, amazing!!! Of course I do, depending on the occasion & the car I drive. Like, if it's formal function, I would use the family car to make an impression when I have to use valet park. However, have to take care not to chaf the heels or that $xxx pair of shoes would be ruined! My own personal reasons not to drive barefoot are that firstly, it's uncomfortable. Secondly, it's uncouth to be seen driving w/o shoes as I may have passengers in the car. Not ladylike at all!
TameDriver Twincharged April 22, 2012 Share April 22, 2012 But you dont find ah ma drives lo. What makes u think ah mas don't drive? I encountered them everyday in my area. I happen to notice becos They drive like they have all the time in the world in high cc cars, hogging the way between 2 lanes, refusing to give way even when I signal or honk. Saw a couple of them alighting fr their cars.... They wore high heels!

Count-Bracula Twincharged April 22, 2012 Share April 22, 2012 After getting into your car (1), and before getting out (2), what's the first thing you do in (1), and last thing in (2)? Some will pray for safety? Or, zip and unzip? For me, take off shoes, and put them back........ To keep my toes cool. What's yours? Log in to MCF. Log out MCF. No lah. Put on helmet. Remove helmet. Bare is good. Now I avoid wearing my boots when driving. Tend to step on both accelerator and brake pedals at the same time. Had a couple of close calls at the traffic junctions.
