tried it just now, just keep left at the custom up slope. Took me 9 mins to reach Tebrau City. Usually should be about 30mins for the old road.

Used this new road just now. Went in this morning, Sunday at 6.30am. Road is smooth and will exit just before Jusco. Do take note of the exit sign. It can be confusing for new users. Remember the exit is towards Kota Tinggi if u are going to Jusco. The sign is right on the exit split so look out for it.

Came back at 5pm just mow and queued for an hour. Take note that there is only one lane for cars and the queue will be very very long. A bit pissed with queue cutters but that's life when people have skin thicker than tank armor. So if u are in a hurry just cut queue lor.

No toll for this road. Those regular to kampong pandan will love this.

Drive safe.

Hi,

with this new EDL and the new E22 highway/bridge to Desaru, what will be the fastest way to Desaru now and how to link? EDL have any exit that links direct to E22?

Thanks very much for the answer. I wonder with these 2 hw, what will be the time to reach the Desaru resorts now. After exit CIQ can reach <1hr if stick to speed limit?

This is the pic I took today, the link is exactly directly after the custom. The normal way towards Shell is to keep to right, EDL just keep to the left lane. 9mins from this custom to Aeon Tebrau City. I believe not many people are aware of this road as most SG cars still use the normal way.

U won't be able to see the normal route to the CIQ at Johor. However I believe everywhere also slow traffic today because it's weekend ...

I wonder how come some drivers can't see/read the prominent signs above the exits?

Could be true that most SG cars don't know this new route...seriously if I had not read MCF, I would not have known about it. :D Thanks for all the bros here giving us all the tips!

Another possible reason is that these SG cars using the old right exit are head towards JB city or the Skudai/Taman U/Pontian areas hence not feasible to use the EDL.

Is there an Exit No on the signage....say Exit 3 or 4a to Jusco Tebrau or Pandan City?

Watch the video and exit the same as in the video at 6:38. Like what someone has mentioned, follow the sign that says "Kota Tinggi"
