Is it just me, or was it a lot smoother this morning? The roads which I always get stuck in jams at were almost all clear this morning.

Every Kiasi Singaporeans drivers are staying at home, spending more time with their kids.

All scared to be on the road. Facing high speed missiles and rude drivers can be fatal sometimes.

 

Recently there are many FT drivers who insist on following their own interpretation of the traffic rule in Singapore. Changing the driving patterns of local traffic norms to suit their own.

i drive out of my place, usually see long jam but this morning no car at all! actually happen since yesterday

There were still jams here yesterday morning, but today it was so clear that I actually doubted that it was a work day and thought "maybe I should turn back".

I guess exams period, not many students going to school. Usually morning jams always come from cars sending their kids to school.

Correct it's exam fever. Many parents also stay home to fever with their kids.

The usual sending kids to school by, then to office timing is broken.

 

Thus it can instantly be proved that IF the schools timing can be staggered, then the road will be smoother.

Today road condition proved that even exams period does improve road conditions!! Don't even need to be school holidays period!

 

There you go....this is much better then the COE and ERP scholars who can't figure out how to smoothen the road jams!!

Easily Solved by the school exams timings, which changes the morning sending of kids to school, which is normal weekdays pooled up artificial jams at the 7:00 to 9:00am period.

Agreed, the schools should have staggered their school hours. All the morning jams on the road between 6am plus to 7am plus majority comes from them!

They should encourage school buses rather than to clog up the roads. Majority of these school kids are old enough to take public transport on their own, let alone taking chartered school buses. I feel that parents are denying their kids the growing up experience for independence by being over protective nowadays.

Maybe parents not only protective towards their kids, the parents also too rich. Cause seems like many parents own cars nowadays, so since they have cars, confirmed they will send their kids to school. Many times, even when their kids already in secondary, parents still drive them to school?!
