Greyminswift 1st Gear August 26, 2012 Share August 26, 2012 Once I change about 8k for my business trip also can see someone "bio" around...especially those OLs where they count $$ openly not at the money changer there but walking away... Do be careful guys, change and count at the counter and ask the money changer for an envelope and keep the $$ inside to hide from invasive eyes... Our ATM discipline also not very good. Some people will openly count their notes before putting in their wallet/purse etc. If you need to count, make sure to do it discreetly, make sure your back is not exposed and best if keep the counting within range of the atm's cameras. ↡ Advertisement
VellfireS 4th Gear August 26, 2012 Author Share August 26, 2012 Random pick may not yield a high return. Base on profiling and target selection, they can effectively rob him and make a escape route effectively. Random robbery they wouldn't be able to escape that fast. My take is he is marked all the way from the start. I think it's inside information..
TVT Supercharged August 26, 2012 Share August 26, 2012 I've changed there many times, sometimes up to a few thousands in foreign currency...but never got rob leh. I have seen ladies changes more than SGD5K also (cos they give IC to money changer) and no issue! The best rate (I think) is in People's Park, not Raffles Place. But its more "comfortable" to change in Raffles Place due to the type of "crowd" around...if you get what I mean!

Passion 5th Gear August 26, 2012 Share August 26, 2012 Premeditated manslaughter then? This will never be manslaughter. Multiple wounds found on victim body. Very obvious perpetrator wants him dead.
Happily1986 5th Gear August 27, 2012 Share August 27, 2012 This will never be manslaughter. Multiple wounds found on victim body. Very obvious perpetrator wants him dead. that's your opinion. prosecutor will need to establish his case that there was intent and planning to take the victim's life. It is easy to prove that this was a planned robbery however if the victim was killed as a matter of unintended consequences, then it is manslaughter not murder. Tayspiderx 3rd Gear August 27, 2012 Share August 27, 2012 Should be about to capture the perpetrator with all those cameras infront of money changers. Lost of life at such young age is truly sad.

Now my question is, if it is like what you mentioned, unintended consequences, how do you explain 20 over wounds on the victim body? If not to kill him, why need so many stabs onto the victim body? This is something which perpetrator can't even explain himself.

If the motive is to rob, then killing will become secondary hence manslaughter. If motive is to kill, then must prove why he wants to kill this guy (even without him carrying the load of cash)
